Adjunct Associate Professor Violet Chihota is the Chief Specialist Scientist and has been a researcher in global health for over 10 years designing and managing conduct of clinical research studies in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Cameroon, Georgia, India and Malaysia.

Violet is a visionary Chief Science Officer spearheading the groundbreaking IMPAACT4TB evidence generation. With a relentless pursuit of knowledge and a deep passion for scientific discovery, she leads the team in generating cutting-edge evidence to combat TB. Her expertise and strategic thinking drive the research projects forward, propelling the fight against this global health threat.
