Can you describe the major goals of your IMPAACT4TB advocacy project? How will your work advance access to TB preventative therapy in your country?
We want to create demand for the uptake of TPT by young people living with HIV (PLHIV) with youth champions. The project also intends to monitor the uptake of 3HP/TPT through existing differentiated service delivery (DSD) models.
What gaps do you think are important to address?
Tracking and monitoring uptake of 3HP/TPT, and keeping young people at the center of the process through DSD models.
What does it mean for you to be an IMPAACT4TB grantee?
Being a grantee under the IMPAACT4TB program means we have an opportunity to identify challenges faced by young people in accessing 3HP/TPT and that they may have options to rectify access challenges and identify advocacy opportunities through engagement with the Ministry of Health and Child Care.
