#RightToPreventTB

A DIGITAL CAMPAIGN

The IMPAACT4TB consortium is driving demand and action towards short-course TB preventive treatments (TPT)

This year’s global theme, #YesWeCanEndTB builds on last year’s momentum, focussing on expanding access to new TB tools and empowering communities. The IMPAACT4TB project also marches forward in its final year with an ongoing campaign, #RightToPreventTB emphasizing every person’s right to access TPT, particularly children.

Beyond the Project: Partnering with global and national civil society organizations (CSOs), IMPAACT4TB has achieved significant advancements in TB preventive care and helped shape global TB prevention policies and strategies. As the project concludes in 2024, its legacy will continue to influence the fight against TB for years to come.

THE CAMPAIGN

This year, we continue focusing on ensuring everyone has the #RightToPreventTB. New advancements like the dispersible flavoured paediatric 3HP regimen make TPT more accessible and user-friendly for children. We also recognize the importance of short-course TPT: 3HP and 1HP, in particular, 1HP, the shortest course of TPT available, offering a convenient and effective option for adults and adolescents.

We cannot #EndTB without the incredible work of communities and CSOs. They raise awareness, ensure access to TPT for those most in need, and advocate for global policies prioritizing TB prevention.

Let’s amplify the message of the #RightToPreventTB.
